This production is made from fresh chilled shrimp shells(Pandalus borealis),shelled crab. It is off-white, innocuous, semitransparent and amorphous solid. Soluble in acid, but insoluble in alkali and water or in ordinary organic solvent. Decomposed at 185 celsius degree.

        The water-Soluble Chitosan is off-white or yellowish, transparent and amorphous semitransparent solid.Easily soluble in water. The solution is clear and character is stable.

Usage:The Water-Solubility Chitosan(Acet-Chitosan Sodium) is prepared by the acetylation of chitosan that is extracted from shell of crab or shrimp.It is soluble in water ,and has an excellent functions of moist CPCTS absorbing ,wet keeping , regulating, and bacteria inhibiting etc. It is widely used in the following fields: cosmetics,food, fruit water Keeping and preservation, flocculation of waste water, relaxation agent of drugs, no toxic adhesive,textile and dyeing, and paper assistant preparation etc.
